Quantum Finance Application Laboratory

In September 2020, CCB Fintech, a financial technology company of the China Construction Bank, reached a strategic cooperation with Origin Quantum, a leading company in China's quantum computing company, to set up a quantum financial application laboratory through joint efforts. In February 2021, the laboratory was officially unveiled. Taking the application scenarios of CCB Funds as the foundation, the two companies jointly released the industry's first batch of quantum finance application algorithms they have collaboratively developed, including the quantum option pricing algorithm and the quantum value-at-risk rating algorithm. Focusing on the financial market and risk management, these algorithms marked the first attempt of China's financial community in the exponential growth of quantum computing power.
